2 vs 2 tournament by Tendai shu

Tendai organizes on Thursday October 15, a  2 vs 2 tournaments. 8 couples from 8 clans  are needed, that means 16 peoples. The 8 clans taking part will have to give the names of 2 people and a substitute on monday if possible  or in the worst case Tuesday.

1. Only katana (the Ninjaken is considered as a katana) will be allowed for the fights

2. Special hit is forbiden

3. During  the fights, bugs, log outs will cause  you to be considered dead for the running round

4. We ask the fighters to have their ARC the closest to 1, (without katana & sheath)

5. All fighters waiting for their next round will have to stay on the  cushions  around the mats & use IM to communicate.

6. Ony organisers & fighters will be allowed on the Tournament place. No audience.

We wish you a very pleasant tournament !

Clan/School sponsored weekly tournaments

Goal:
A clan/school official or Non official will be hosting a Team tournament a week.

Methods:
There will be a rotation each week for each clan/school to sponsor a Team Tournament at their Sim. The team can be formed as Clan vs. Clan, Boys vs Girls, Blue Vs Red, Tall vs. Short.. etc. Each clan can come up with a creative theme for their Team tournament. It can be more than 2 Teams. For example, there can be 3 teams, 3 colors, 3 topics against each other. 3×3x3. or 4 teams… etc. Be creative! The goal is to have fun. At the end of each rotation, the most creative sponsored theme will receive a prize.

Objective:
To form informal tournaments between all C:SI members by crossing the barrier to form inter-clan/school comradeship and to promote sportsmanship and mostly entertainment for the C:SI community. No awards, just plain old fun!

Participation:
Open to ALL – Clan members or Non-members.

Date/Location:
Determine by each individual participating clan/group/school.

Clan/school leaders please let me know if you are interested in sponsoring the game.

un droit d inscription de 100 L$ par concurrent sera demandé pour être inscrit.

Ce concours est ouvert à toute personne possédant un sabre CS:I.

Pour pouvoir être inscrit à ce concours il faut être 2 personnes, et payer le droit

d inscription soit 200 L$ auprès de Dave1000 Winkler au plus tard

le mardi 6 octobre à 23h00 ou 02:00 PM SLT.

Si moins de 16 combattants n’est là à 22h15 /01:15 PM SLT maximum,

le tournois sera annulé, et l argent sera rendu.

Le prix pour le couple gagnant sera de 1600 L$

1 Seul, le katana sera autorisé au cours des combats.

2 Le spécial est interdit

seront considérés comme mort du combattant pour le round en cours.

5 Tous les joueurs qui seront en attente de combattre devrons être assis sur les coussins mit à leur disposition, et ne parler qu’en IM .

Mid-Autumn Moon Festival 2009 to Penghu Wulin- Chinese Martial Arts Sim

China’s Mid-Autumn Festival is traditionally celebrated on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month. This year falls on October 3rd in Western calendars. The festival is the second most important festival after the Spring Festival to Chinese people. Every year, It is also a family gathering from all over to have dinner and watch the moon. Moon also signifies a circle, reunion.  Chinese would eat Moon cakes that resembles the moon. During the Yuan Dynasty, the Chinese inserts secret messages on the mooncake to organize rebellion against the Mongols.

There are many legends for the moon, the most famous one is ChangEr, the maiden who flew to the Moon.  It will be preformed by the famous Chinese performance group, Story house Nightingale’s, “The Lady of the Moon”.

Location: Penghu Garden Performance Space.

INTERMISSION:

Moon cake Ladies giving out moon cakes with secret messages in them.

Premiere of “Dragon Saber” – SL martial arts movie that emulates RL martial arts movies in terms of story, theme and style. The story is loosely based on Jin Yong’s martial arts novel.

Synopsis:

In Ancient China, the family blade, Dragon Saber was stolen from the Emei Sect and ended up in the hand of the renegade Shogun. The Guo sisters tried to regain the blade but failed. Out of vengence, the Shogun killed the entire Emei Sect, leaving the leader, Guoxiang wounded. After Guoxiang recovered, she went after the Shogun for the ultimate show down.

Location: Wulin open Cinema by the mall.

Fireworks over Penghu and Party at the Penghu Garden.

Location: Penghu Garden Performance space.

Don’t forget to go and look for the Mid Autumn Festival Hunt at the two Malls and hunt some mooncakes through out the Sim!
